Many people ask, “What does SVEF do with the money raised each year?”  Here are a few of the ways we’ve helped our schools: $61,000 went to restore the libraries to 100%, this year. $80,000 was donated to help with the technology upgrade for our school district. $10,000 went towards after-school athletics and school supplies. We need 10 volunteers on June 7th from 11 -3pm, to help with the Sidewalk Celebrations. It would be to monitor a bounce house, sell raffle tickets or beverages. If you can help, please contact Charlotte or call 423-4088.

The inaugural Sidewalk Celebration at Scotts Village (Safeway/Longs) and Scotts Valley Square (Kmart) kicks off at 11 am, Saturday, June 7th, with the fun going until 3 pm. Sunday we will be holding two conditioning rides starting at 9:00am from the Skypark parking lot (directions below). Hopefully some of you who haven’t been able to make Saturday’s ride can come this week. David will be leading a more advanced ride that will head up to the summit, for a long and mountainous ride.
