Annual Fundraising Campaign

Dear Scotts Valley Schools Supporter:

As the holiday season approaches, we believe we have much to be thankful for here in Scotts Valley. In spite of continued budget reductions, our students are thriving, as evidenced by the amazing test scores we saw this fall. With generous donations from our community and through our various fundraisers, the Scotts Valley Educational Foundation has been able to give back over $180,000 to our schools this year! Our Endowment Fund has grown to more than $265,000, and we continue to make annual contributions so that it will continue to grow. To help us continue to raise enough money to fund these very critical needs and programs, we need your ongoing support.

This past year, SVEF donated over $183,000 to support crucial programs and services:

• $44,000 to provide counseling services at all four schools
• $55,000 kept the libraries open at each school
• $30,000 to support technology needs on each campus
• $21,000 built an adaptive playground for our pre-K students
• $32,000 funded a part-time GLAD coach to train ALL our teachers
