Dear Scotts Valley Schools Supporter:
This year, the Scotts Valley Educational Foundation (SVEF) saved the libraries and counselors at all four Scotts Valley schools. Threatened by closure, SVEF stepped in and spent nearly $100,000 to keep these vital programs afloat. We also earmarked $30,000 to support technology needs on each campus, for a grand total of $129,000 for our schools.
As you may know, public schools in California are hurting, and Scotts Valley schools are woefully underfunded by the state. That’s why SVEF is so crucial, because its sole mission is to raise the resources needed to support quality educational programs at all four Scotts Valley schools.
This year, our objective is to raise at least $200,000 in order to continue to support these programs and more, but to do that we need your financial support. Please consider making a donation today. With your help, we can continue to save these vital programs at our schools.
Sincerely,
Allison Niday and Mary Dettle
SVEF President and Vice-President
