Accomplishments – Did You Know?

Many people ask, “What does SVEF do with the money raised each year?”  Here are a few of the ways we’ve helped our schools:

1. $61,000 went to restore the libraries to 100%, this year.
2. $80,000 was donated to help with the technology upgrade for our school district.
3. $10,000 went towards after-school athletics and school supplies.
4. $5,000 for art and music programs.
5. $5,000 for special education programs.
6. $10,000 towards changing classroom locks and installing blinds for security.
7. $10,000 to purchase additional computer equipment, and some science department textbooks.
8. $20,000 for wireless internet, outdoor safety lighting, sound systems for performances, and DVD players for classrooms.

This funding was only for the last couple of years, as an example.  As you can see we have been very busy putting your dollars to good work.

Our top fundraiser is the letter campaign that is going on right now. Please consider making a tax deductible donation today.  Another big fundraising event is our annual Mtn. Charlie Challenge.  It will be held May 2nd this coming year, more information will follow soon.
